JAWBONE CREEK TO HOST TETWP
Jawbone Creek Country Club will be host to "TOUGH ENOUGH
TO WEAR PINK" golf tournament this year. Tough Enough To Wear Pink
(TETWP) is a grass roots organization started by breast cancer survivor
Terry Wheatley. The Central Montana TETWP was stared in 2010 in hopes of raising money for
the local Cancer Screening Center to help with the cost associated with the screening and treatment,
such as travel, hotel, etc. It encompasses the following counties: Fergus, Judith Basin, Petroleum,
Wheatland, Golden Valley and Musselshell. Since its inception four years ago, this campaign has
raised over $40,000.00. It has expanded to help the Frontier Cancer Center in Billings, once again
helping patients in treatment within the six county area with travel and
room accommodations, regardless of the type of cancer.
Their fundraisers include an annual dinner held at the Elk's Club in
Lewistown in May, Birdies for Breast Cancer (TETWP)-June 7 in
Harlowton, the CMR Stampede in Stanford on July 19-20 and the Central
Montana Rodeo on July 23rd.
So come on Harlowton, put your four (4) person teams together for a
day of golf and come up and support this very worthwhile cause. Just stop and think of how many families have
dealt with cancer or are currently dealing with this disease. Are you TOUGH ENOUGH TO WEAR
PINK??? If you don't golf, perhaps you'd like to come up and just support the golfers, we'd love to see you.
To sign up for this tournament, give the JCCC Clubhouse a call.
