Wow, what a week, from a balmy 77 degrees to 27 degrees on Thursday!! I guess that is what we call
"springtime" in Montana.
The greens tarps have been pulled and those warm winter blankets seemed to have worked. It's nice
to see the greens green. Some warm weather and you are going to love it.
"Christmas at the Jawbone" was pretty appropriate this week with the snow we
received and some great prizes awarded to some lucky winners. Jeff Welbourn,
walked away with 1st prize, while Todd
Hasbrook was 2nd, and Olson Grain & Fertilizer came in 3rd. Put another successful
fundraiser in the books for another year and we can keep the doors open again.

drawing, Carrie McLees won the Pine Meadows golf outing, Randy DeBuff won the
Ray's Sport & Western
Wear prize. Rob Tierney was the successful bidder on the Ted Blum original sapphire
necklace.
April 30th the Jawbone will be hosting the HHS Golf Tourney with several high school golfers from
around the state coming in. Come watch the future "pro's" from HHS. Our Harlo team is coming off
of a couple of 1st place team wins from Malta. Come and check them out.
May 1st the Clubhouse will be open!! Our hours will be from 3PM to 8 PM (Weekdays) until the
weather decides to co-operate. Weekends will find us open from 8AM to 8PM, again the weather will
be dictating the hours. Please stop up and check out what is happening, the coffee pot will be on!!
Men's League will have an organizational meeting on Thursday, May 7th at 5 PM. Get those teams
together and we can get the schedule slated. If you are not currently on a team, please come, some
teams still need players or perhaps we can get a new team going. We WILL be playing golf that night,
a team scramble.
Women's League is kicking off on Wednesday, May 13th at 5:30 PM. Call Marlene Robertson for further
information.
If you have not paid your dues, you are delinquent!!!

Congratulations to Jeff Welbourn from Dillon, MT who was the 1st place winner and to Harry Klock
who brought this fellow legislator with him and purchased him in the calcutta.
