A dark starlight Saturday night with tiny colored meteors flying around
the Jawbone was truly a sight to see. I guess you must of missed
the Glo-Ball Tournament last Saturday and it was a GREAT one!! Dobeck
Performance of Belgrade and DFman Enterprises of Bozeman sponsored the event
and went all out. New state of the art glo balls, no more glow sticks in
the ball that fall out and 3 different colors of balls...WOW!! Fifteen teams
participated in this annual event. Flag Prizes on every whole, from Long
Drive to Short Drive, long putt, and several other unique categories that
kept us all trying to in one!! Winning team was Dallas Fischer and
Travis Holzer who came in with a combined night and daylight score of 71.
Mark and Nathan Dobeck scored a 74 to place second.
The 3rd Annual Fireman's Bash is shaping up to be a another dandy and Dean
Thompson has all the great obstacles to keep it interesting.
Better plan on heading up to the Jawbone and support your local volunteer fire
department.
The geese are still with us and the deer seem to be liking the
mowed grass more and more. Out of town people are starting to hear how great the
Jawbone is this summer and heading into Harlo for a round or two.
I think the Bornong Brothers own the course record, playing 45 holes of
golf in one day!!! Whew, I am tired just thinking of it!!
Come up and enjoy a summer day with us....see you at "THE BONE!"
