WHEATSTOCK 2010, the JCCC annual fundraiser, held on April 24th, was a great success. A wonderful
prime rib dinner was prepared by Todd King, our chef for the evening.
Hey man, it was totally groovy and a couple of real time WHEATSTOCK personalities took home the
grand prize for the best dressed!! Helen Scotson and George Thomas raided their closets and found
their youth once again as evidenced by the picture.
The ultimate goal of the evening is to have the lucky ping pong ball pulled out for the BIG
BUCKS!!
Tara and Gregg Wasson, with the number 100, won the Grand Prize of $1000!!
Ted Blum donated a beautiful hand made gold and diamond heart shaped necklace. Tom Keating
purchased this beautiful piece for his bride, Beth.
Stan Wilting was the lucky winner of the MT Silversmith Pocket knife donated by Ray's Sport and
Western Wear and Jess Langston won the range ball pass at JCCC.
WHEATSTOCK 2010 music was provided by Ron Miller of Lewistown and was definitely enjoyed by the
crowd.
So as JCCC kicks off another year, we are happy to report that we can keep the doors open and
welcome you to come up and play a game of golf or if you are not a golfer, just come up and enjoy
the view and company, we'd love to have you.
The Club House is scheduled to open soon, if Mother Nature will calm down a little. The cool
nights and the big "W" are slowing the green up, but it will come, after all, it is only Spring
in Montana!!

HHS/JG HOSTS GOLF MEET
April 24th was a HUGE kick off day for the Jawbone Creek Country Club. The cloud covered, windy
day started off with the Harlowton/JG Golf Team hosting their local meet. Absarokee, Big Timber,
Centerville, Fort Benton, Huntley, Park City, Three Forks, Roundup and Belt all made the trek to
play 18 holes of golf. A total of 79 golfers, young men and women, tee'd off around 9AM and
completed their competition by 3:30PM.
The Harlowton/JG Boys won the meet with 250 points, winning by two over Three Forks. Eric Sell
posted the low gross with a score 77, edging out Louis Schneider of Fort Benton who shot an 80.
The top 3 scores are entered as a team score, adding to Harlowton's score were Trevor Berg-86
and Kyle Rosenberg-87. Daniel Barnhart shot a 91 and Tyler Wheatly finished up with a 115.
Patrick McLaughlin of Harlowton, who golfed on the JV team shot his best game of the year,
posting an 88.
The Engineer Ladies finished in the middle of the pack with a score of 324. Bailey Snelling posted
a 105, Ashley Hooper-106 and Annelle Moore with a 113.
The state meet will be held in Ennis in a couple of weeks. We have several of our golfers
qualified for the competition. The guys are looking for a top spot, having finished last year
with a 3rd place. Best wishes to all of them!!
